Dear McGreevey family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of LaVerne.
LaVerne was my Godmother, and although I did not know her well, I have always been proud to have LaVerne as part of my life.  I too am a nurse and want to believe that LaVerne instilled a passion for nursing in me.
My thoughts are with you during this time of loss.
Kindly,
Monica Brooke

My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of LaVerne.  It’s so hard losing a beloved one in death, and I want to share a comforting scripture with you.  It is found at John:28, 29 where it says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”  We can only imagine the joy we will have when we are reunited with our loved ones again.
