Carolyn Margeret Sheumaker

With love and sadness, the family of Carolyn M. Sheumaker, age 79, announces her passing on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Carolyn was born on January 3, 1946, in Ronan, Montana, to Earl and Mary Drebes, and she grew up in the Pablo area. She was deeply rooted in the Mission Valley and cherished her many years serving the community.

Carolyn dedicated over 30 years to working at Pablo Elementary School and also contributed her time and talents to other local businesses throughout the valley. She was known for her commitment, kindness, and care for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Drebes.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Valerie (Chris) Hertz of Charlo, Jay Sheumaker of Polson, Mike Sheumaker of Pablo, and Greg (Patty) Sheumaker of Charlo; along with twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind brother Clarance Drebes (Connie) of Pablo.
