Cassandra Harris

October 12, 1993 — June 24, 2018

Cassandra Diane Harris was born on October 12, 1993 to William and Pamela Harris in the Missoula Hospital with a loud and strong voice that would remain at a high joyous volume throughout her life. She was the baby to 3 older siblings, Monty, Michelle and Brett.  From the very beginning, she had a gift for melting everyone’s heart, and wrapping them firmly around her little fingers. She was always such a happy little girl and never understood why she had to go to school and comb her hair. “Cowboys don’t comb their hair!!” She always proclaimed.

Cassandra had many names among her friends and family.  Cass, Cassie, Casserole, Cassie Petunia, Sassy Tuna, Runt and Screamin Meme are a few, but no matter what she was called, she always had the run of the roost.  Rarely did she not get her way with her parents or siblings. She enjoyed all the typical farm life things growing up on the family ranch in Round Butte on the edge of Ronan.  Driving tractor, the pickup while feeding square bales and working with the animals. She enjoyed showing her sheep Connie and then Dolly at the Lake County Fair in the kiddie show.  She was a huge fan of her older siblings activities including basketball, cheer leading and rodeo. She was often seen wearing her own cheerleading outfit cheering on the Ronan sports teams and being a great little mascot.

As her life continued she was always loved by everyone she came into contact with and was always known for her great big beautiful smile!  She was easily the bright light in every room. Although she had some personal struggles in her young adult life with finding her place, she was still able to put smiles on the faces of everyone she came into contact with.  There are so many people that are touched and will not soon forget her contagious happy attitude. “Let your light shine through” was a common mantra of hers.

One of her greatest accomplishments and happiest parts of her life was her son Carter John Coffman who was born on February 15, 2012.  Some of her best moments in her adult life were with her son going on adventures, as Carter would call them.

She was taken too soon from us all in a tragic incident that took place on the night of June 22nd 2018.  A huge void is left in her families and friends lives.

She is survived by her her son, Carter John Coffman, her parents Will (Jen) Harris, Pamela (Mark) Clary; Siblings Monty (Abby) Harris, Michelle (Jacob) Sharbono, Brett (Jennifer) Harris; Step Siblings Ciara and Gavin Roberts, Michele (Mike) Jackson, Chris and Andrew Clary; Nieces and nephews Lilly and Ella Harris, Aubrey, Ryan and William Sharbono, Wyatt, Colby and Ryleigh Harris.  As well as her Grandparents Judy (Jack) Collins and Bud Harris. As well as many many extended family members on both sides.

She is preceded in death by a brother Nathan Harris, Grandparents John Jackson and Mary K Harris.

There is Memorial Services planned for the celebration of Cassandra’s life on June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Round Butte Club House.  The family asks that all parties please come with a smile on their face as that is the way Cassie would have wanted people to feel thinking about her.
