Daniel Michael Normandeau, age 60, passed away at St. Luke Community Hospital, June 18, 2017 following years of a brave struggle with severe medical conditions.
Daniel was born to Louis and Lila Normandeau on March 2, 1957. He was raised in Ronan and graduated from Ronan High School. He graduated from the University of Montana with degrees in psychology and sociology. He also had a number of jobs in the oil fields of North Dakota, was on staff at the Ronan Job Corps, the CSKT fire control as well as the property and supply department for CSKT. He enjoyed a number of hobbies that included building his own home and his own airplane.
He is survived by his mother, Lila; three brothers Steve, Keith, and Kevin; a sister, Ann, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis, and a niece, Rochelle.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, from 4:00 PM- 6:30 PM at Shrider-Thompson Funeral Home, Ronan. The rosary will be recited following the visitation at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ronan. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, June 23, 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Ronan Cemetery.
