Then they moved to Ronan, had two more children and raised their family there. Some of her greatest joy came from her four children. They created many memories while enjoying family trips to the Oregon coast. Chris even lived in Alaska for several months to help watch her grandchildren while her son completed college. She completed her college degree after her children were grown and worked as a Nurse for several years before helping out at the family sporting goods store in Ronan as the bookkeeper. She also volunteered at the local Breadbasket and helped others in need.
Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us to be kind to others. To choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, as Jesus has shown us to be.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Sacred Heart Church in Ronan, with Father Brooks. A burial will follow at the Cemetery in Ronan and then a gathering of family and friends at the Parish Hall in Ronan.
