Randall “Hunky” McNair left this Earth on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He was born October 2, 1950, in Klamath Falls, OR to Theresa Matt and Alfred “Tommy” McNair Jr. Randy grew up in Klamath Falls, and Sprague River, often visiting family in Montana.

He met his first wife Joy in 1969 and together they had three children. Randy lost his father in 1972 and became the patriarch of his family, impacting many. He married the love of his life, Tracy Mauro, in 1983. They had two children.

In 1985, the family moved to Montana, where Randy worked at Cenex in retail and fuel delivery for 22 years. He enjoyed meeting people and he maintained relationships with many customers through the years. In 2008 Randy began his career at SKC as a heavy equipment instructor. He was proud of the fact that two of his grandsons and nephew went through the program. Randy loved seeing all his students succeed. He continued working at SKC until he was physically unable to, in October.

Randy knew almost everybody in the valley - many through his jobs but also because of the Louie Louie Band. What a force they were, playing music for over a decade together! Music was a huge passion of his, but Randy had many hobbies - from softball, hunting, and bowling, to cribbage, poker and pulling pranks on people, he was always up for adventure!

The thing that he was most proud of was his family. Randy’s eyes lit up whenever he spoke about those he loved. One of his favorite activities was watching his grandkids play sports. He also never let anyone leave without a hug, and those of us who have had one know- his were the best. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Theresa and Tommy, his sisters Diane “Sis” McNair, Ferol “Cutie” Porter, and Electra Fry, his brother Art McNair, and nephews Bipper and Boot Clark.

He is survived by his wife Tracy McNair, his sisters Tania Ayers and Eunice Rojas, brothers Sonny and Doug McNair, sons Randall Jr, Chris (Maegan) and Ashton (Sarah) McNair, daughters Misti and Jennifer McNair, grandchildren Telson (Kayla), Jaden, Constance, Brittney (Sean), Trey, Camdyn, Cayvence, Calijah, Isaiah, Cami, Chris Jr. and Lucas, his treasured great-grandchildren Tucker, Amaryllis, Bailey and Sayler, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

At Randy’s request, there will be no services.
