Stanley Harris

Stanley Wayne Harris passed away at home with his wife at his side on Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was born in Yakima, Washington on October 25, 1934 to Kenneth and Isabelle Harris.

Stan enjoyed sports, especially baseball at which he excelled in during his high school days.

He raised his family near Selah where they raised cattle and horses. He liked riding and camping in the mountains.

He worked in the fruit industry in the Yakima area for over twenty years working for Rainier Fruit Company. After retiring he moved to Montana where he enjoyed raising foals from his quarter horse mares, riding, gardening, crafting with wood & viewing the plentiful wildlife that frequented the pastures.

He is preceded in death by a son Steven Harris.

He is survived by his wife Leona, sister Sharon Chase Arbour, children, Jeff Harris, Diane Caldwell (Jeff), Kathy Dodge (Tom), Duane Rapp (Michele), Doug Rapp (Lisa), grandchildren, Kelson, Brooke, Cody, Kayla, Karly and Mitch.

There will be a graveside service held this summer.
